I had to work again while I was at home over the weekend, but I did find some time to get out to enjoy a local beauty pageant at my old high school… LOL (don’t judge me).

Sweet!!! I spent more time than you probably think trying to put this thing out last night, so please let me know what you think. Ok, I sat up last night thinking about what I wanted to say for my first opening episode. It will only be me for right now as I discuss the details of the show and tell a little about the cast. I actually tried recording some last night but it was kind of late and you could defiantly tell it in my voice. It’s really weird though, after you talk and then play it back over the speakers. I guess it’s just something I’m going to have to get used to. So make sure you guys stay tuned because I plan on having the first episode up tomorrow. Glee…

Ok, I know I have talked about some things that I would like to see happen on Kinston.com, but almost everything I talk about here is completely out of my hands. I make suggestions to the media/web committee and they do with it what they please. But when it comes to this blog, pretty much anything I want to do is up to me. So… I am in the process of talking with some of my friends and my brother about doing a podcast.
Yes, you heard correctly… A podcast. I like the whole posting thing, but I think you as the viewer would enjoy a much richer discussion if it were audible. I will still be posting in the blog, but my main effort is to start up a really cool podcast.
If you have never heard of podcasting, it is a really easy way for anyone with some knowledge of recording audio on a computer, to upload your thoughts and ideas to the internet for everyone to listen. Up until the newest version of iTunes, it was kind of frustrating to find podcasts. You would have to actually search the net for podcasts and then manually download the MP3’s of the show. But now iTunes has streamlined podcasts by allowing the developer to submit there podcast feed and they list them all in there podcast section.
So… hopefully in the next week or two or three or… lol. Just kidding. Maybe a week, I will have a brand spanking new podcast to upload to Press Play. I think it’s going to be awesome and so should you. Leave your comments about stuff you want us to talk about and maybe we will have visitor guests on the show later on.
PS. I’m sorry but I don’t know if there will be a Random Crap today. I’m really busy today and I just don’t know if I’m going to be able to get to it. Sorry
