OMG… What do you want?

I am sitting here at work, just thinking about what I really want to write about but then I stop and realize that hardly anyone is taking a look at this blog anyways. Let me explain what I mean by examining this chart

As you can see… in the beginning stages of this blog and its new appearance on kinston.com there was quite a nice spike of visitors during December. But on towards the end it trickles off and is pretty much no where to be found. I really want to share the goods with the community but if there is no community then why should I spill? I need readers that will interact with the site and become part of it. If you don’t let me know what you think, then it’s going to be really hard to bring you content that you can truly enjoy.
I will say this much though… the only thing about being bored and thinking about what to do is that it will free up some time to listen to a little bit of music. I am going to attempt to tell the few readers I have about this little device I recently got that makes painful charts and harsh statistics blow away. It is the Sony MP3 Walkman.

I picked this one up here in town at our Wal-Mart. It weights in at close to $80 (tax included) but if you are considering buying an Apple ipod shuffle, you should defiantly check this one out first.
The Sony Walkman has tons more features by far and only cost about $10 more if you go the retail route. Basically the first thing you notice is the beautifully clear 320×240 full color display. Its internal capacity is 2 gig. So you can use that space for music, photos or movie files. I personally have taken a strong liking to the ability to play movies on this thing. You probably know that most movies you download are fairly large. A movie that is 10 min. long @ 640×480 will probably run around 50 to 60mb. But if you convert those videos to the MPEG4 format they will be at a resolution of 320×240. That cuts down on a lot of file size. I have full episodes on this player that are well over 30 min. long but are only about 23mb in file size.
Another great feature is that it has a FM radio tuner built right into it. That way if you forget to change your music up before you go out that day, you can always listen to your favorite stations in full stereo when available.
The only down fall that this player has is that the ear buds suck. But that is pretty much how all ear buds are that come with mp3 players. I would highly recommend that you head over to our Staples shopping center and pick up a set of Skullcandy Smokin Buds.

They are currently going for $19.99, so they are not ridiculously expensive. These buds are x10 more comfortable, x10 better sound quality and x10 the BASSSSSSSSSSS. The buds use a direct to ear concept where the bud actually goes inside the ear, kind of like earplugs for when you go into a noisy environment; and with that being said, once you put these babies on you can barley hear any outside noise (unless your being screamed at, but you get the point).
They come with different size silicon caps, just incase you have funky ears… umm… I had to change mine too, so don’t feel bad if you have to swap yours
