Orange Skin Anyone?

Sim heads everywhere… lend me your ears, or your eyes. I have a special little treat for you today. I just recently started playing this great flight game.

It is none other than “IL-2 Sturmovik 1946″. It is an air combat simulation game, and it is probably the best one I have ever played. Not only is it a very realistic sim and it looks awesome; it also gives you the ability to fabricate your own plane skins! You can even take a picture of your face and put it on your little pilot… It’s CRAZY!

So I took some time out of my busy day at home to make my own skin, and when you see it I think you will defiantly like it (especially you Half-Life 2 Fans out there).

Click here to download the skin!
Right click on the image and save picture as…
Make sure to save the skin in the following directory:
(Hard Drive Game is on)>Ubisoft>IL-2 Sturmovik 1946>PaintSchemes>Skins>F4U-1D

Also, if you are interested in playing online with us, you can pick up a copy of this game. It might be a little tough to find it in many stores around here but you can always search it online and have it shipped to your door. What’s better than that?

Here are a few good places to look first (links take you directly to IL2 product page):
Newegg.com
Amazon.com

Make sure you click on the top right link that goes to the “Gaming Contact List”. Just follow the directions to get set up.
